There is a certain ideology among the Green People. The ideas you hear about demonstrate the efficacy of burning humanity's food through the exhausts of our vehicles. That will work very well to wean us off fossil fuels. In the process of reducing the efficiency of our vehicles we are told that our economy will also move ahead. Don't forget that you cannot have wind power in my backyard nor can you have that ugly solar system on my neighbor's property. Another thing. Don't you dare look for oil in the seas because you'll mess up all that ecology and places were I swim. Just one more item. We don't want oil drilling on beautiful government property nor in any place that has wild life.

Starvation looms ahead in various parts of the world. Food costs seem to go up daily. We'll just have fewer babies. The government must pay out more subsidies to support bio-fuel production. After the public and the government are on the verge of bankruptcy and the little people are starving the Greens will have accomplished their goal: The destruction of national boundaries so as to internationalize the world and we'll feed ourselves from our own labor and not the the labor of others - down with the Proletariat! We'll be able to do that because there will be many fewer of us on this green earth.

Theses folks have their own "scientific community" who in no uncertain terms have decreed that we are responsible for global warming. I have heard that there are lots of scientists who state that there is no scientific certainty about these claims. They say there is lots of evidence that the earth in the not too distant past was substantially warmer than today. Some of these scientist will not go public for fear of retribution from the "global warming" people who have all but established a new religion. Don't use energy unless it is clean and to hell with people having to pay more for everything because of it. It is much more important, you see, to fix things so that we have fewer people. Oops, that's another unspoken agenda. It's much more important that people get poorer in the process so that we can have an even playing field. Oops, that's another unspoken agenda.
